The Whitney Players is committed to giving actors a professional theatre experience, even as a community theatre!  Auditions are open and welcoming.  We are always looking for new talent to be featured as leads or as ensemble, as a performer’s skill and comfort will allow.  The technical support for actors is never compromised – with professional lighting, sound, scenery/projections and costuming.  The high production value of our shows is hallmark of the Whitney Players.

I hope you are well and having a good summer! I just wanted to let you know that I had such an amazing time at High School Musical. It was the highlight of my summer. I had a really tough school year and Whitney Players helped me in so many ways.  Here are a few ways Whitney Players allowed me to be myself and never be afraid not to, it allows me to do one of my favorite things, and I have made friends that I will have for the rest of my life. Whitney Players gives me the confidence to believe I can do anything I want to do. It lets me see the true meaning of acting, friendship, and hard work. Whitney Players… I can’t even put into words what it has done for me and what you have done for me. I will forever treasure my experience because it has helped me get through so much. I just thought that you should know how I feel and how Whitney Players and everyone who is a part of it makes me feel. I miss you so much and can’t wait to see you soon!
